DERMAL FILLER DISSOLVER
POST PROCEDURE INSTRUCTIONS
-
Post-procedure reactions include redness, swelling, pain, itching, bruising, and tenderness at the injection site. They have generally been described as mild to moderate and typically resolve spontaneously after a few days after injection
-
You can take an over-the-counter antihistamine to help with swelling and itching.
-
Warm compresses can be applied to help the dissolving process a few times during the first 24 hours after treatment
-
Massage the treated area for a few minutes every few hours for the first few days.
-
Avoid any trauma to the skin for up to 2-5 days, such as bathing with hot water, strenuous exercise, or massage.
-
Makeup may be used after any swelling has dissipated unless there is epidermal bleeding. It is recommended to use new makeup to reduce the possibility of infection.
-
Keep the area moist. Any moisturizer without alpha-hydroxy acids will work.
-
.Results are often seen almost immediately; although, for denser, more cross-linked products, it may take 48 hours for the effects to be seen.
-
Although some of the effects can be immediate, it can take up to 2 weeks and multiple sessions for the final results.
-
If more filler is desired, schedule an appointment at least 2 weeks after the last dissolving session.
